Greetings Dragon Nest fans!
The Dragon Nest Closed Beta testing period has ended, and we want to thank everyone who participated! We appreciate all of your feedback –the good, the bad and the bugs – as it helps us make the game even better for launch.
We took some of the most frequently asked questions from the forums and answered them below.
Question: Any new improvements for the Empowerment System in the near future?
Answer: We are considering all the player feedback in regards to the empowerment system, and are currently working on adding final touches to make it even better for everyone.
Question: Is there a fatigue system?
Answer: No, there is no fatigue system in Dragon Nest.
Question: What are Scales?
Answer: Scales are event currency that can be used to purchase certain cash items.
Question: When do I receive the Scales I acquired during the Closed Beta?
Answer: Scales will be available to your account during Open Beta, when the Dragon Vault will open with various convenience cash items.
Question: What will we be allowed to keep now that Closed Beta has ended?
Answer: All accounts will be reset. If you fulfilled the requirements for the Closed Beta events, your rewards will be distributed to your account during Open Beta. Specific information will be available at the start of Open Beta.
Question: How do I reset the 2nd password?
Answer: You can reset your 2nd password by submitting a ticket to Nexon Support. Remember, the number pad scrambles each time you enter the password, so it is important to remember the exact number sequence rather than the pattern on the number pad.
Question: When you enhance an item, is there a way to get stats other than HP/MP added?
Answer: Yes, there is a chance that stats other than HP/MP will be enhanced.
Question: Will there be rankings for PvP and are there any rewards?
Answer: There will be rankings for PvP. The reward for PvP is the PvP EXP, which affects rankings.
Question: What kind of items will the cash shop have?
Answer: The cash shop, known as the Dragon Vault, will have cosmetic items to customize the avatars, as well as convenience items such as potions and messenger birds that deliver messages within the channel or world.
Question: When will OBT be released?
Answer: The next beta phase will arrive in July. To keep up with Dragon Nest updates, check the official website regularly and join the official Dragon Nest Facebook page.
Thanks again for all your support, and we’ll see you in the next phase of Dragon Nest!
