It’s one thing to take out your enemies, but are you ready to take on your friends? As the curtain rises on the Theater of War, Dragon Nest PvP is about to begin its second act. You can battle with friends and against other adventurers in the new 3v3 ladder mode. Take on all comers in Free-For-All mode or try out the new Mummy Ghoul in the town of Silence.

3 vs 3 Ladder Mode

For the true PvP competitor, there’s nothing more exciting than going head-to-head with opponents just as tough and ruthless as they are. It gets even better when you can bring a few friends along to share the excitement. For that special breed of adventurer, the new 3 vs 3 Ladder Mode in the PvP Channel is what you’re looking for.

·      To enter a 3 vs 3 bout, simply report to the Arena and look for the new “3 vs. 3” tab on the Arena board.

·      A player can invite specific friends to a competition or wait for random players to join.

·      Once the party is full, the match can begin. The party will be randomly matched against another team of three.

·      The first team to eliminate the opposing team wins!

Free-For-All (FFA)

Sometimes PvP is an honorable competition among teams of enthusiastic competitors. Sometimes you just want to go out there and hurt everyone you see. For those moments there’s Free-For-All (FFA) mode. When you absolutely, positively have to kill every other player on the battlefield, go FFA!

·         To enter an FFA match, simply report to the Arena and select “FFA” in the Arena channel.

·         An FFA match can be played on any map except Town of Silence.

·         Matches can be played with four, eight, 10, 12, or 16 players.

o   Exception: the Arena of Death map can hold four, six, eight, or 12 players.

·         Players receive one point for every kill. The first player to reach the goal points, in the match, wins. Goal points are: 4, 8, 10, 12, and 16.

o   Players play until time runs out or a player reaches the point limit.

·         Medals and EXP will be awarded should players choose to consume power.

Protect Mode

Leadership is a rare commodity on the battlefield, one that must be protected at all costs. When asked to give your all, will you protect your Captain? When you’re a Captain, what will you do to help your soldiers?

·         To enter a Protect match, simply report to the Arena and select “Protect” in the Arena channel.

o   A Protect match can be played on any map except Town of Silence.

·         Matches can be played with eight, 10, 12, or 16 players.

o   Exception: the Arena of Death map can only hold eight players.

·         Matches can be three, five, or seven rounds.

·         At the start of each round, one player on each side is randomly selected to be “Captain.”

o   “Captains” will wear a very visible helmet and have the glowing image of a crown above their head to distinguish them from other players.

o   Teams must kill the other team’s Captain. Doing so ends the round and awards that team a point.

o   Teams that win the most rounds win the game.

o   Non-Captain players will respawn in a few seconds if killed.

·         Medals and EXP will be awarded should players choose to consume power.

Ghoul Mode

You’ve enjoyed feasting on the flesh of your enemies as many different varieties of ghoul. Then just when you thought you had probed the secrets of the town of Silence, a new mystery digs itself up from the ground. Are you ready to take on the linen-shrouded Mummy Ghoul? Are you ready to be one?

·         New Ghoul skills have been added for the Mummy Ghoul.

·         New achievements are now available based on the Mummy Ghoul.

·         Medals and EXP will be awarded should players choose to consume power.
